New Delhi 13 Dec Wednesday, The Ministry of Finance announced via an official Tweet that the date of Aadhaar-Bank A/C linking deadline is extended from 31 December 2017 to 31 March 2018. And mentioned that It would be extended for 6 months, Until it does not end the linking process.

The Ministry of Finance tweeted that “It has been decided by the Government to notify 31st March, 2018 or six months from the date of commencement of bank account based relationship by the client, whichever is later, as the date of submission of Aadhaar number & PAN or Form 60 by the clients to the reporting entity.”

Let us tell you that before this decision, the last day of linking Aadhaar and bank account was 31st December 2017. Which has been extended now and can extend further in the future as per requirement.

Although this was already under discussion since the last few days, but there was no official confirmation from the court and government.

This morning, a notification was released by the Department of Revenue in the finance ministry for extending the deadline of Aadhaar-Bank A/C.
